We take trial runs very seriously at The Mane Project. A trial run is the best time to ask questions about your style, bring different hair accessories, and change the look if you are unhappy with the final product. Our goal is to make you feel absolutely beautiful. The trial run is the best time to make sure you truly love your style.

Description Travel rates are charged when your stylist needs to travel a longer than normal distance. Travel rates are as follow:
Vancouver $35
Abbotsford $35
Chilliwack $50
Whistler $100

Your hair should always be washed before your service. A stylist can always add more texture and product to your hair to get a certain style. The stylist cannot remove product or oil from your hair.
When hair is unwashed it can cause your hair to react differently to the products than expected. It may also look greasy and there is nothing your stylist can do to fix that.
If your hair takes a long time to dry it is not an issue if you wash it the night before. The best way to treat your hair is to come with it clean and dry. If your hair is left wet your stylist will charge you a blowout fee.
You should come to your service with no products in your hair.

Your stylist can help you choose the best style for your hair type and body style. It is, however, easier for your stylist to understand what you are looking for if you have a few looks that you like.
A trial run will help you and your stylist figure out the perfect look. It is important to book a trial run especially if you want to see more than one look.
I have had braids done by Taryn a few times now and will definitely be doing more. She is always down to try the new styles I am looking for and always executes them to my liking. Not only is she. breath of fresh air to spend time with, she also is knowlegeable in teaching me about my hair. I always know I am in safe hands with her.
